Dr. Jordan Collins
Dr. Jordan Collins is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pennsylvania. He was elected class president all four years of his training and was active in many other student organizations. He volunteered with the First Tee of Pittsburgh, National Lobby Day for dentistry, and was a teaching assistant for the Gross Anatomy course. In addition, he found time to participate in the American Student Dental Association, the American Dental Political Action Committee, the American Dental Education Association, and the Give Kids A Smile Program.
On top of being so active in committees and volunteer activities, Dr. Collins graduated at the top of his class and received the Academy of General Dentistry award. He was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. This society honorarily invites the top performing dental students across the United States to join each year.
Dr. Collins earned his undergraduate degree in General Biology at the University of Washington where he became and avid Dawg fan. He grew up in University Place, Washington and graduated from George R. Curtis High School, where he met his wife, Katie. The high school sweethearts were married the summer of 2007. He enjoys spending time with his family, attending Husky sports events, snow skiing, and mountain climbing. He recently reached the summit of Mt. Rainier with his father and brother in July 2011.
Dr. Collins has started the newest Light Dental Studios location in Lacey and is very excited to be a part of the Light Dental Studios family. He is looking forward to becoming a part of this growing community and building lasting relationships with patients new and old.
