Dr. Bozena CaballeroDr. Caballero grew up in Poland in a small city called Bialystok (which means “White Hillside”). After graduating high school, Dr. Caballero immigrated to the United States and completed her Bachelors and Masters in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She graduated Magna cum Laude while working part-time as a teaching and research assistant. She went on to attend dental school at the University of Washington graduating in the top 10 of her class.
Family is very important to Dr. Caballero. She met her Paraguayan husband, David, during her undergraduate studies. First, they added an adorable Shih-Tzu puppy to their family and then two kids followed. Her son Oliver was 4 months old when Dr. Caballero started her dental education at UW and her daughter Maya was born two years later. In her free time Dr. Caballero loves exploring the Pacific Northwest, visiting coffee shops to indulge in caffeine-rich beverages (much needed when raising young children) and reading books.
Dr. Caballero grew up without dental insurance and in a culture where dental health was not a priority. Thus, her goal is to educate her patients about the importance of oral health. She will treat you like family and prove that a visit to the dentist can be a great experience. She will take time to discuss your dental needs and to properly answer all your questions. Dr. Caballero is looking forward to being a part of your dental journey to achieve a healthy and beautiful smile.
