Dr. Bhatia graduated from Sardar Patel Post Graduate Institute of Medical and Dental Sciences, one of the top dental schools in India. During her schooling, she organized dental camps in schools and villages providing oral health instructions and giving basic dental treatments to patients in the community.

After arriving in the US, she was accepted into a Surgical implant externship program at UCLA School of Dentistry. Shortly thereafter, she began her three-year advanced specialty residency program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University in Southern California.

While at Loma Linda University, she gained valuable training in the latest cutting-edge periodontics techniques under the tutelage of some of the best professors and clinicians in the field of periodontics. She participated in various clinical research competitions/symposiums and was an honorary member of the school’s periodontics and implant clinical and research society. During her residency, she attained proficiency in an array of various invasive, non-invasive, and laser-assisted procedures to manage periodontal conditions in the mouth. Her proficiency includes diagnosis, treatment planning, management, and treatment of periodontitis and peri-implantitis. She has clinical excellency in multiple soft tissue and bone regeneration techniques. She also offers services in providing single immediate implants placement to management of full mouth complex rehabilitation cases. While confident in her abilities, she is optimistic that learning and mastering knowledge will be an endless lifelong pursuit. Every day, she strives to become an even better periodontist.

A friendly and gregarious person, Dr. Bhatia cherishes the time she gets to spend with her patients, colleagues, and staff alike. Her highest priority is to make sure that each patient receives the safest and most effective care needed. Open and transparent communication is essential to every conversation she has with her patients. She believes that patients should be fully confident with her recommendations before proceeding with the treatment plan. After the procedure, she prioritizes follow-up care including patient education, pain control, and ongoing maintenance to ensure long-term successful outcomes and patient satisfaction.

When she is not in the dental office, you can find her enjoying outdoor sports like hiking and rock climbing. In addition, she is a talented dancer, adept in multiple art forms including Indian classical, Bollywood, and hip-hop. An adventurous person, Dr. Bhatia loves traveling and exploring new places.
