Hello and welcome to Light Dental Studios. I have recently joined this incredible group of people that have one goal in mind: total patient care. Whether it be your treatment or financial needs, we are here for you to make your visits as pleasant and painless as possible. I have over 20 years experience in the dental field and am blessed to have found a new home with these amazing dentists and team members.I have lived in the Puyallup and Olympia areas most of my life and I thoroughly enjoy our beautiful state. I have been blessed with a wonderful family and I enjoy spending time with them.

Cindy

Front Office - Member since 2001

I have been working in the dental field over 30 years, starting as a dental assistant and now as part of the administrative team. My goal is to be a part of a greater team that creates a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for our patients. It gives me great satisfaction to see patients' smiles as they leave.My husband and I live in Orting with our cat, Peaches. We have been married 30 years and have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading books, and crafting. I have gone on mission trips to Mazatlan, Nicaragua, and Africa. In 2009 I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise funds for a village in Northern Uganda, Africa.

Jennifer

Front Office - Member since 2020

Jennifer was born into a military family, so growing up her family wasn't defined by blood but by the relationships made along the way. Because of that, growing up she was always looking for ways to grow her little Washington family so joining Light Dental Studios was the best option for her! She has been with Light Dental Studios since February of 2020 and has always enjoyed coming to the dentist (even when it wasn't cool with her playground friends). Her heart has been invested in customer service since her first job at 19-years-old. To her, there's nothing better than seeing a patient leaving happy with a smile across their face.

Jennifer was raised in Bonney Lake, Washington, and that beautiful view you get while driving up 410 on a clear day became her favorite sight to see. She loves going on long drives, spending time with her loved ones, and will never turn down a game night. Live music is her personal form of therapy.

Natalie

Front Office - Member since 2021

Meet Natalie! She has been in the dental industry for several years, the first two years working as an orthodontic assistant. It was after having her first child that she went back to work as a scheduling and billing coordinator. She recently made the switch to general dentistry after having her second child. General dentistry has been very exciting to learn! Natalie is very grateful to be part of such a great team. Everyone here in Bonney Lake is awesome!

Natalie is very family-oriented. She and her fiancé have been together for about 10 years. They have two young boys, Matteo and Myles. A few things they enjoy doing as a family include going on walks (their favorite), camping, cookouts on sunny days, traveling and spending time with their extended family.

I have worked in the Bonney Lake office for 25 years. We have a wonderful group of team members and doctors that are like family. It's been a privilege to support the clinic operations as well as administration. It brings me a great deal of satisfaction knowing what I do "behind the scenes" helps to lay the foundation for an office that runs smooth so that our patients can feel welcomed and comfortable.I live in Sumner and have been married for 44 years. We have 2 grown children and a 13 year old grandson. We feel very blessed to have our family close by. I enjoy activities with friends and camping. Reading books and watching old movies are a few of my hobbies.

Sam

Front Office - Member since 2022

Samantha, a lifelong resident of Washington, joined our front desk team in Bonney Lake in June of 2022. She started in the dental industry in 2016 with on-the-job training as a registered dental assistant (RDA). Her dental career has been in orthodontics as an RDA. Although she is no longer chairside, she will continue making her patients feel welcome and comfortable in her role within the front office. Customer service has always been part of her and she takes pride in providing a superior experience.

In Samantha’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters. Her oldest will be attending the University of Montana in the fall of ‘22 and her youngest is in the class of 2024 at a local high school. Camping, hunting, fishing, ATVs, kayaking, and her pets are just a few of what keep them busy.

Meghan

Front Office - Member since 2022

Meghan has been a part of Light Dental Studios since June of 2022 and quickly fell in love with the company, all those who work for Light Dental Studios, and their patients. She worked in customer service for 3 years, in which she enjoyed helping customers and making everyone's day brighter. Meghan was within the IEP program in elementary and middle school for mathematics and successfully tested out of the program near the beginning of high school. She regards this as one of her biggest accomplishments. She is also a graduate of Green River College with an associate degree as an administrative assistant. Literature is her voice, and she has used her voice to write her many cherished novels which she hopes to someday publish. With Meghan, there are no shortcuts, especially toward patient confidentiality and safety. Which she strives to make the utmost importance.

When Meghan is not at work, she enjoys writing her novels, spending time with her cherished golden retriever (Hailey) and enjoying time with those she loves.

Kathy, RDH

Dental Hygienist - Member since 1980

I have had the great pleasure of working in the dental field as a Registered Dental Hygienist for the past 34 years. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Washington. I was inducted into the Sigma Phi Alpha National Dental Hygiene Honor Society and graduated second in my class. I am an Associate Fellow within the World Clinical Laser Institute and a member of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries. On a personal note, I believe a smile has the magical power to touch another's heart. I love using my talents and skills to help our patients co-create and maintain the most beautifully healthy smiles possible. I look forward to each patient's next visit and delight in seeing and hearing just how those smiles are creating positive changes in lives. I am a Puyallup native and two amazing children. Megan is an intensive care RN and Travis is a fisheries biologist. You will often find the three of us collaborating together in the kitchen creating delectable culinary delights and enjoying the fruits of our labor. Yum! I enjoy vacationing anywhere the sun shines, spending time in the outdoors of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, gardening, and curling up with a warm blanket, latte, cat, and a good book.

Dental Hygienist - Member since 2012

Educating and motivating patients to achieve optimal oral health is one of my passions. I aspire to promote oral health by educating the community and allied health professionals about the significance of oral health’s impact to the quality of life. I started my career as a dental assistant and now work as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I earned an Associates of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. During my time at Lake Washington I’ve gained many leadership, proficiency, and organizational skills. I graduated top of my class receiving awards in oral health and restorative procedures. I am currently working towards obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene to expand my skills and knowledge in areas of public health, teaching, research, business and marketing. I am a Bonney Lake native and very excited to be part of the Bonney Lake team. I am blessed to work with work team members that strive to increase knowledge of oral disease prevention and to motivate individuals to adopt healthy behaviors. I enjoy being outdoors and active including shooting hoops, running, hiking and snowboarding. I love spending time with my friends, family, and two miniature dachshunds.

Annalee, RDH

Dental Hygienist - Member since 2018

Annalee graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in Community Health Education, then went on to graduate Dental Hygiene School in 2013 from Clark College in Vancouver, Wa. She enjoys getting to know her patients and wants to work with them to better their oral health so they can have the smile they deserve.

Her spare time is spent with her two boys and her husband. She loves visiting her local YMCA and tries to travel as often as possible.

April, RDH

Dental Hygienist - Member since 2019

April joined Light Dental Studios in 2019, but is not new to the dental field. She fell in love with dentistry 20 years ago. She started in the veterinary field working for a veterinary dentist and later moved along to humans. She has a love for animals but always looks forward to talking with each patient she has the privilege to meet. She says being at work is like being on vacation because she gets to chat and get to know people while she cleans teeth. She fell in love with Light Dental Studios because of the warm, friendly, and incredibly talented team!

Outside of her time with Light Dental Studios, April loves to spend time with her husband and two boys. They love to camp, hunt, and fish. They often bring along their two dogs who love to help them fish!

Valerie, RDH

Dental Hygienist - Member since 2022

Meet Valerie! She joined the Bonney Lake team in 2022. Valerie has been working in dentistry for many years. She began as a dental assistant then went to dental hygiene school while raising her three children who grew up here in Bonney Lake community. Valerie graduated from dental hygiene school at Pierce College in 2006 and continues to learn new technology in the dental field.

She enjoys meeting and treating each patient like family. She says "the best part of being a dental hygienist is to help patients overcome any dental fears and have a great dental experience!" What drew her to this office was the wonderful staff that all have the same goals to provide a positive and fun experience in the dental office.

Outside of working at Light Dental Studios, Valerie loves spending time with her husband, three adult kids, and her two grandchildren. She loves to travel to Arizona for the sun and warm weather! She also loves the outdoor trails and beauty that only Washington state can offer!

Corrie, RDA

Dental Assistant - Member since 1990

I am so excited to be a part of the long establish Bonney Lake team that is joining Light Dental Studios. I started in the dental industry in 1981 and earned my Dental Assistant Certification from Bates Vocational Technical School. I have raised four children: Chris, Charlie, Craig, and Cortney and now have two grandchildren: Cole and Cora. I have been married to my high school sweetheart Randy for 35 years. I was born in California, but was raised in Bonney Lake on my father's dairy farm. I graduated from Sumner High school and you can still find me cheering at many SHS games. My husband and I enjoy getting in our two-seater sports car and searching for whatever adventure lay ahead. In the winter, I take pleasure in reading and playing with my grandchildren.

I work alongside Dr. Gossler as his assistant, helping with anything he needs to create beautiful smiles for each and every one of our patients.

I have always loved teeth, and believe that a healthy, beautiful smile can really make a person happy. I’m so lucky to be doing what I’ve always wanted to do! When I have free time, I love staying fit and working out.

Tanisha, RDA

Meet Tanisha - Your Friendly Neighborhood Dental Assistant!

Born and raised in Covington, she has always enjoyed going to the dentist since a young child. She fell in love with dentistry after a job shadow in high school and was so blessed to find her dental family with Light Dental Studios in 2015.

Her patients and team members are like family to her. Tanisha has such a passion for taking care of her patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair, she is always going the extra mile for her anxious patients! She wishes everyone enjoyed going to the dentist as much as she did growing up, so she does her best to make sure her patients have a great experience!

Tanisha loves spending time with her husband and their two pups, Sophie (Pug) and Bella (Great Pyrenees). They love to snuggle on the couch and watch movies together. She is a huge nerd and loves talking about all sorts of fandoms with her patients (Harry Potter, Disney, Lord of the Rings, World of Warcraft, DC/Marvel comics, and the list goes on and on!!)

Ruthie, RDA

Why Hello there My name is Ruthida also known as Ruthie. I'm a graduate at Everest College. At Everest I was an Ambassador, a 4.0 GPA student, and had perfect attendance. I am so honored and thrilled to be apart of the Light Dental Studios family. I will tell you that I love pleasing others, and seeing that smile on people's face that is what makes me happy camper. You know most people often tell me that I'm a determined, motivated, and outgoing person which is very true about myself. I've never imagined myself as being a Dental Assistant, but look at where I am now I love what I do and I am proud to be a apart of the Light Dental Studios family. Come on in so I can brighten your day.

Brenna, RDA

Brenna is the newest member of the Light Dental Studio's team in Bonney Lake and she is ecstatic about it. As a part of her schooling she chose this company to complete her externship hours and when her hours were completed we offered her a position as a Dental Assistant here at our Bonney Lake location. She enjoys working for this company because, " It's like a huge family!" She wanted to work here because, she was blown away about how positive everyone's attitude was. During her off-time you can catch Brenna fishing the rivers in the Grey's Harbor area with her boyfriend and his clients or cuddled up on the couch with a cozy blanket, her dogs, and a good movie.

JeAnna, RDA

Dental Assistant - Member since 2018

JeAnna has been practicing in dentistry since 1984 and has spent most of her life in this caring profession. Always known for her outgoing and friendly smile, she treats her patients with compassion and personal interest. She believes that growth does not come without our patients. All the patients who come to Light Dental Studios feel that they are especially welcome and are part of the family. She is about self-improvement and is constantly reflecting on how to make things more comfortable for others.

Outside of dentistry, she has a special interest in music; her family was basically the Sound of of Music in the beautiful Northwest. She loves animals and thrives on keeping fit, particularly bike riding and running. She is a runner by heart and has joined the Light Dental Studios team in running the Tacoma Narrows Half Marathon. She has ran one whole and three half marathons and was a part of the Highline Cross Country team in the Pacific Northwest. JeAnna has a smudgy heart for animals. Her own include: an iguana named Shanky, two Great Danes named Apollo and Athena, a Boxer named Juno, a Macaw named Harley JoJo, and an Amazon Parrot named Harley Boo.

Kaylie, RDA

Meet Kaylie! She is the newest addition to the Bonney Lake office. Kaylie stumbled into the dental field after hearing about how great it is, she’s looking forward to seeing where this exciting opportunity takes her. She is very grateful that Light Dental Studios has welcomed her with open arms - she couldn’t think of a better team and environment to work in.

Kaylie was born and raised in Enumclaw! When she’s not in the office she likes to spend her time with family, friends, and her three Chocolate Labs, Kota, Kase, and Kruz! She also pours a large chunk of her time into owning and operating her very own salon in downtown Enumclaw called, The Beauty Bar where she does eyelash extensions! Kaylie is a firm believer in the expression “work hard and play harder” and that’s exactly what she’s doing!

Arlene, RDA

Dental Assistant - Member since 2021

Meet Arlene! Born and raised in the city of Tacoma, she graduated Charter College as a year-round Dean's list awardee to become a registered dental assistant. Arlene started at Light Dental Studios as an extern and then was hired into our huge family. She was inspired by many peers to go into the dental field. Arlene is also very caring towards everybody and enjoys helping out whenever it is possible!

Outside of work you can find her out in the parks with her five puppies, shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family!

Nicole, RDA

Dental Assistant - Member since 2022

Meet Nicoleta! She is originally from the Republic of Moldova, a small country neighboring Romania and Ukraine! She emigrated with her family to the United States in 2019. Once she emigrated here, Nicoleta's goal was to create a career here. She really likes the medical system in the United States, especially the dental field. Nicoleta decided to take the Certified Dental Assistant Program at Renton Technical College. It was difficult but not impossible, and she graduated and got her first job in the States as a dental assistant! She is very happy to work at Light Dental Studios.

Out of work, Nicoleta likes to spend time with her husband and daughter. They love to camp, ride bikes, and go to farms or parks. She also likes to have a day dedicated to herself, where she can rest, meditate, read a book, or simply watch a movie.

Mary, RDA

Dental Assistant - Member since 2022

Mary Yang moved to Washington from Michigan in 2005 when she was ten years old. Six years after high school and working in various fields, she finally plucked up the courage to make the big jump and go to school to become a dental assistant. Mary began her studies in the dental world in March 2021 and completed her education in December 2021. Shortly after completing her externship, she joined Light Dental Studios in December 2021.

Mary feels so blessed and happy to find a place where she belongs and enjoys coming to work every day where she continues to grow. Every day there is something new to learn and another challenge to improve yourself. She loves that Light Dental Studios has so much passion and drive to ensure that patients and staff feel welcomed, loved, and heard. The environment is very attentive, friendly, and supportive.

Mary's favorite part about being a Dental Assistant is seeing how happy each patient is with their new smiles at the end of every appointment. Knowing that she was part of the helping hand that assisted their newfound smile makes her feel happy.

When Mary is not at the office, she loves spending time with her family, adventuring the outdoors, reading, singing, listening to music, crafting, and playing video games.

Ephraim

Denturist - Member Since 2022

Ephraim graduated from Bates Technical College in 2009, receiving his associate’s degree in Denturism and achieving his license in Denturist of Prosthetic Dentistry. While going to school, Ephraim worked as a dental assistant at his family dental office honing his skills in chairside work and fabricating dentures and removable prosthetics. Ephraim later joined another dental team that specialized in a full arch “All-on-4” fixed dental implant bridges, where he became an expert in surgical conversions in a day cases, and fabricated implant fixed hybrid dentures. Working in a lab and clinical setting, he expanded his knowledge and expertise through Nobel Biocare and a hands-on mentorship with the KOIS Center of Dental Science in Seattle, WA. With his 14 years of experience, Ephraim joined Dental Light Studios in February 2022, where he is excited to show his skills and knowledge and bring light to patients' smiles.

In his free time, Ephraim loves to cook, try new restaurants, fitness, travel with his wife, and do outdoor activities.

Stephanie

Denture Lab Technician - Member Since 2018

Stephanie graduated from the dental lab technician program at Bates Technical College in 2012. After graduating she began working at Spartan Dental Lab. She furthered her skills there for Four and one half Years before finally finding her work family here at Light Dental Studios in house lab. Stephanie enjoys bettering patient's lives with what she calls functional art in the form of removable dental prosthetics. Dentistry flows through this girl's veins with three generations of dentists plus one hygienist before her; she wanted to follow suite!

In her free time Stephanie enjoys drawing, horseback riding, and making people laugh.

John

Denture Lab Technician - Member Since 2019

Prior to becoming a lab technician with Light Dental Studios, John worked as a dental assistant for five years locally in Tacoma. He started working in the lab in 2019 and is truly impressed with everyone's dedication to our patients as well the company's culture and core values.

Everyone has made me feel very welcome and I'm proud to be part of such an outstanding team! In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends
