David was brought up with an enthusiasm to help others from a young age. From making sandwiches to solving complex financial issues, he’s always enjoyed creating positive interactions with those around him. When you walk in our door, David’s primary goal is making sure that your visit is an exceptional experience. What drew him to Light Dental Studios was the sincerity of his friends and family testimonials regarding their time spent with us. Outside of the office, you can find David hiking about Washington with friends, and camping with his dog Indie. He also loves cheering on the Seattle Sounders, trying as much new food as humanly possible, and checking out random movies and books.

At a young age Maddie developed a passion to assist those around her and spend time exploring the outdoors. Growing up in a small town on Mt. Hood she learned how important community is and the definition is more than just helping your neighbor.
She spent many hours dirt biking, hiking, and rafting however, when she started volleyball she learned how much she appreciated being on a team! Being apart of Light Dental Studios has given her more than just a career, it has allowed her to grow, learn and become apart of something bigger. A team that believes that dentistry is more than just promoting oral health.

It's always interesting when asked to tell about yourself. Who should know more about you, than YOU. In her 30 something years, Savannah has found that knowing yourself is a ongoing lesson. So far, one thing she's learned is that she have a genuine passion for people and their human experience. She believes that passion has lead her to this career field.
Savannah has been with Light Dental Studios since September of 2018. She studied dental assisting at Clover Park Technical College where she worked part-time as a "peer ambassador" for the Student Leadership and Service Center. Prior to that she worked varying jobs ranging from hardware stores to child care. When she's not in the office assisting, she spends her free time doing different things. Most favorably she enjoys live entertainment. She loves a good concert with one of her favorite artists or even a local band. Either way, she just loves to hear the music and be among other people who enjoy the same. If she's not "fan-girling" out at the nearest concert, she likes to acrylic paint or take a road trip. She love a good meal, especially if it involves some sort of potato dish. Most recently she has chosen to follow her "people passion" outside of work and began volunteering time with a youth group through her church. Her heart is with the youth. Their tenacity and curiosity inspires her.
She is committed to living by a saying she once heard, "Instead of trying to make a better world for our children, let us make better children for the world."

Melissa grew up in small town Texas and came to Washington after being stationed in Fort Lewis. She loved going to her hometown dentist which sparked her love for dentistry. They always made the experience easy and she wanted to be able to provide the same for others.
Melissa loves helping people and being a part of making other peoples dental experience a good one, which is why she is so happy to be part of the Light Dental Studios family. The friendly, welcoming environment was exactly what she was looking for in a career.
On the weekends, Melissa loves spending time with her little girl and husband BBQing and playing video games.

Abbie graduated from Olympia Dental Assisting School in 2020. She grew up near San Francisco, California, and moved to Washington in 2019 for a change of scenery and school. Growing up she remembers going to her orthodontic appointments after school and all the assistants made her feel very welcomed and comfortable every time. This inspired her to become a dental assistant to give other patients the same family feeling she experienced. Abbie has a passion for helping people and loves lighting up the room with smiles and laughter. She wants to make sure all her patients have the highest quality of care and compassion and that is why she is excited to be here at Light Dental Studios! She believes no one is ever done learning and looks forward to growing here at our office every day.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking and exploring the PNW, spending time with Mowgli her cat, spending time with family, and shopping at Target even when she doesn’t need to.

Mallery was born and raised here in Washington and wouldn’t trade it for anything! She wasn’t too sure what she wanted to do out of high school but found out very, quickly that dental assisting was the life for her. Since joining the Light Dental Studios team, she has realized that having a job doesn’t have to be "work." Mallery enjoys helping people have bright beautiful smiles and plans to go back to school for dental hygiene.
When Mallery isn’t at the office, she enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, riding quads, and taking long adventurous drives with her better half. You can often find her on a random Sunday in Oregon for no explainable reason. She looks forward to meeting you in the chair!
