Dr. Jordan Collins
Dr. Jordan Collins graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pennsylvania. He served as President to his class all four years of his training and was active in many other student organizations. Since graduation, Dr. Collins has participated in such organizations as the American Dental Association, Washington Dental Society, and the American Dental Education Association. On top of being so active in committees and volunteer activities, Dr. Collins graduated at the top of his class and received the Academy of General Dentistry award. He was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. This society only invites the top 8% of graduating dental students across the nation to join.
Dr. Collins earned his undergraduate degree in General Biology at the University of Washington where he became an avid Dawgs fan. You will often find him wearing Purple and Gold on the Fridays of Husky game weeks in the fall. GO DAWGS! He grew up locally in University Place where he graduated from George R. Curtis High School and where he met his wife, Katie. The high school sweethearts were married the summer of 2007. Dr. Collins is the proud parent of two beautiful daughters – Elliot “Ellie” and Tenley Collins.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending Husky sports events, snow skiing, and mountain climbing. Fun fact: he summited Mt. Rainier with his father and brother in July 2011.
Over the past six plus years, Dr. Collins has established the Light Dental Studios location in Lacey as an important part of the Hawks Prairie community. Light Dental Studios understands that dental care is a very personal journey and finding a new dentist can often be a difficult undertaking. Dr. Collins is looking forward to bringing stability to your dental experience, growing with this community, and developing lasting relationships with patients built on respect, trust, and genuine care. Dr. Collins is the Director of Operations at Light Dental Studios.

Dr. Jennifer Reynolds
Dr. Reynolds grew up in Spanaway, WA and attended Bethel High School, where she graduated within the top 10 students of her class. She did her undergraduate studies at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA, earning a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry and minor in Biology. She graduated with Chemistry Department honors, and honor of Cum Laude. She went on to obtain her degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine, or DMD, from Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry in Portland, OR.
Family is very important to Dr. Reynolds. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, especially her high school sweetheart/husband, Jeffery, and their puppy, Wilbur. Her hobbies include riding ATV quads, and going four-wheeling in trucks. In fact, her family has had an annual trip to the sand dunes in Coos Bay, Oregon, every year for over 20 years.
Dr. Reynolds believes that patients should be treated like family. She strives to create a trusting relationship with each and every patient so that they are comfortable in her care. Together with each patient, she finds the treatment that is right for them. Her favorite treatment is education and motivation to provide prevention of infection and disease; thus leading to better health and quality of life for all. She is excited to be part of the wonderful family at Light Dental Studios.

Dr. Virginia Bautista
Dr. Virginia Bautista is so happy to be a part of Light Dental Studios. She was born in the United States and went to live in Guatemala with her family as a child. Dr. Bautista moved back to the United States after practicing general dentistry for 26 years in her private office. She decided to pursue a professional career here when her children expressed their desire to attend college in the states.
Dr. Bautista earned both her bachelor in science degree and dental degree at Francisco Marroquin University in Guatemala City, Guatemala. After graduating from dental school she was invited to take faculty positions at the undergraduate periodontics and pediatric dentistry departments. Her graduation thesis was used for several years as a reference booklet for the TMJ class matter.
Underserved populations hold a special place in Dr. Bautista's heart and she participated in different community projects, including projects she led along with the government to provide meals for children in public schools and daycares. She helped establish mobile clinics in disadvantaged areas in her city and provided dental care to these populations around the country. She participated in dental mission trips with the craniofacial team of MacAllen, Texas with which she traveled to rural areas in the mountains of Guatemala to provide cleft lip and palate surgeries to young children in need. Dr. Bautista also volunteered in the operation room of a charity hospital, providing dental care for patients with special needs under general anesthesia. Dr. Bautista participated in the Guatemalan Dental Society as part of the Board of Directors, where she served several years.
After moving back to the United States, Dr. Bautista received a specialty certificate and a Master's Degree in Orofacial Pain and TMD at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. Her graduation research thesis in laser treatment for the osteoarthritis of the TMJ was recently accepted for publication in the Indian Journal of Rheumatology.
In her free time, Dr. Bautista enjoys spending quality time with her family and her two dogs. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, going to the gym, and spending time with friends. Dr. Bautista believes in providing exceptional patient care in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Dr. Ammera Martin
Dr. Ammera Martin graduated from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry. Dr. Martin’s accomplishments earned her scholarships from both UCSF and from the Xi Psi Psi Dental Fraternity. Additionally, Dr. Martin was recognized for earning Honors in Foundations in General Dentistry and Children’s Oral Health courses. After dental school, she chose to advance her skills by completing an additional year of training through the Veteran's Affairs of Northern California Healthcare System General Practice Residency. This residency holds a special place in Dr. Martin’s heart because it gave her the privilege of providing dental care to the courageous veterans who served our country.
Being a part of her community is important to Dr. Martin. Throughout dental school, Dr. Martin volunteered her time to conduct oral health screenings on children at local schools and provided dental care to homeless community members. She was a health and science instructor to third and fourth grade students, mentoring under-served high school and college students to help them on their path towards advanced education.
Dr. Martin enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with her husband and son. She looks forward giving the patients at Light Dental Studios something to smile about by optimizing their dental health.
