As a child I spent a lot of time in the dental chair and the seed was planted for my passion for dentistry. I have compassion for every patient I work with to improve and maintain their oral health. I graduated from Pierce College in 2009 where I received the Outstanding Student Award. I continued my education at Eastern Washington University where I received my bachelor's degree and graduated with honors in 2011. I have a beautiful daughter named Jadyn aka JJ who loves soccer and American Girl dolls. Our four legged family members include a 3 year old chihuahua and a 7 year old fat and happy grey cat. Welcome to the Light Dental Studios family, I cannot wait to help improve your oral health!

Several years ago, I started filling in at Light Dental studios as other hygienists needed time off. I was immediately impressed with how friend and professional the teams were.In 2014, I was invited to be a part of the regular Friday and Saturday crew in University Place and I jumped on the opportunity. The teamwork, caring and family atmosphere is unparalleled. I am so proud to be a part of this terrific group.
In my time off, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband Andrew and our daughters. Kelsey is in college in Australia and Courtney is a senior at Curtis High School.

Hi my name is Amity and I am very excited to join the Light Dental Studios team! I enjoy helping patients improve their oral health through education and one of the great joys of my job is treating and preventing periodontal disease. I firmly believe when you understand what is going on in your mouth, it is much easier to make decisions about your oral health. I am happy to join Light Dental Studios where patients have the benefit of multiple locations with the feel of a small dental family. I hope you'll smile at every visit to see me at the Lacey office. I was born and raised in Tacoma and love living here in the Pacific Northwest! I love our rain, but when the sun it out, so am I! In my spare time I love going on long drives along the water, dancing ballet and I enjoy volunteering at my mom's preschool.

Having been born into a military family then finding true love to a military man, Paige has lived in 9 different states and 3 different countries. Getting her start in the dental field at Luke AFB as an assistant, she soon found that Dental Hygiene was her true calling. "I love the relationships and the influence for better oral care that I can affect." Seeing the quality of work that Light Dental Studies exhibits and the care for the community such as "South Sound Free Dental Day" makes me proud to be a member.
Her passions in life are her Lord, Family ( proud mother of 4 children and 8 grandchildren) gardening/quilting ( depending on the weather) and hiking with her lab Coco.

Jennifer Jordan has been a hygienist since 2013. The PNW has been home her entire life! She grew up in Port Orchard, moved to Bellingham after graduating high school, and then moved to Portland, Oregon where she studied dental hygiene at Clark College. She enjoys playing outside whether it is hiking, riding bicycles (has competed in the annual Seattle to Portland bike ride multiple times), or swimming. You may also find her dancing in the air at local circus and aerial events in the South Sound area. She is a dental hygienist by day and an aerial performer by night (and on the weekends)! When she isn’t out running around she enjoys cuddling with her dog, a chocolate lab named Stella, and her two cats, Hashana and Biggie, while watching horror movies.

After working for several dental companies upon graduation from Dental Assisting school, I was excited to find a company I could call home. I could start building my career with amazing co-workers and patients. Light Dental Studios has been that for me and I have already started to build wonderful and life-long relationships with my teammates and patients. Every day at work I am happy to be there, helping create the best experience for all our patients. I am so blessed to be a part of such a great dental family!

I first want to say that I am so thankful to be working for the best company in the world! It's such a pleasure to love what I do and to work with such amazing dentists, staff, and patients.
Meeting new folks and getting to care for them is my favorite part of my job. It is also one of my favorite things outside of work too! Hope I get to see you in my operatory soon!

Heather is a new graduate and a new member to the Light Dental Studios team! She is a Texas native, YA’LL, who moved to the area a few months ago with her husband to start a new life together. Heather found her love for dentistry during her time in school at the Dental Assistant Training Center, because of the strong influence from the instructors and the bonds she made with her classmates. Additionally, Heather serves in the Army National Guard as a Medical Services Officer. In her spare time Heather enjoys to powerlift and play in a local adult soccer league on the weekends. Her favorite thing about being a dental assistant is being able to go to work every day and provide quality treatment that has a long-lasting impact on the patients.

Marissa is a recent transplant to Washington State recently moving here from California to be closer to her family and already feels right at home with her Light Dental Studios family. She is enjoying the greenery and the friendliness of the state as it is reflected in the dental practices of Light Dental Studios. She graduated from high school class of 2013 and attended Chaffee Community College. Her favorite classes were physics, astronomy and philosophy. Eager to start her career, Marissa enrolled at Concorde Career College to earn her degree as a Registered Dental Assistant. Dental assisting is the perfect match for her. A place where learning and fun go hand in hand, and where her love for science was nurtured and could be explored. Patient care is a very important part of her work bringing people happiness and joy and of course a better smile!
Marissa spends most of her free time binging documentaries on Netflix, drawing, exploring nature and spending time with loved ones.
