Jennifer

Front Office - Member since 2020

Jennifer was born into a military family, so growing up her family wasn't defined by blood but by the relationships made along the way. Because of that, growing up she was always looking for ways to grow her little Washington family so joining Light Dental Studios was the best option for her! She has been with Light Dental Studios since February of 2020 and has always enjoyed coming to the dentist (even when it wasn't cool with her playground friends). Her heart has been invested in customer service since her first job at 19-years-old. To her, there's nothing better than seeing a patient leaving happy with a smile across their face.

Jennifer was raised in Bonney Lake, Washington, and that beautiful view you get while driving up 410 on a clear day became her favorite sight to see. She loves going on long drives, spending time with her loved ones, and will never turn down a game night. Live music is her personal form of therapy.

Victoria

Front Office - Member since 2020

Meet Victoria! Born and raised in Mexico until the age of four and having lived in Tacoma for 22 years, Victoria is excited to have joined such a welcoming team at Light Dental Studios in 2020. She is excited to embark on her career here at Light Dental Studios and to bring her degree in communications from the University of Washington to life! Her goal is to continue providing the exceptional service the company's team delivers and to help generate smiles. Victoria has fond memories of going to the dentist and orthodontist growing up, so she is happy to create that welcoming environment for the patients at Light Dental Studios as she knows how much of an impact the experience can be. Having worked in customer service for over 10 years, she values the relationships she builds with both patients and the staff.

When Victoria isn't working, you can find her at the gym or on a mountain top. She enjoys a good cup of coffee, as well as checking out the latest new restaurants with her loved ones.

Maddie

Front Office - Member since 2018

At a young age Maddie developed a passion to assist those around her and spend time exploring the outdoors. Growing up in a small town on Mt. Hood she learned how important community is and the definition is more than just helping your neighbor.

She spent many hours dirt biking, hiking, and rafting however, when she started volleyball she learned how much she appreciated being on a team! Being apart of Light Dental Studios has given her more than just a career, it has allowed her to grow, learn and become apart of something bigger. A team that believes that dentistry is more than just promoting oral health.

Jennifer joined Light Dental Studios in 2020 and comes with over 10 years of experience in dental customer service. She enjoys being part of the care team and helping patients understand their insurance benefits.

In her spare time, her family enjoys time at the beach and exploring the great state of Washington!

Desiray

Front Office - Member since 2021

Meet Desiray! She’s beyond grateful for the opportunity to be working at Light Dental Studio and is looking forward to what the future has to offer! Excited to be making a difference one smile at a time.

She is very excited to start this new chapter in the dentistry field! When it comes to dentistry, the number one thing that inspires her is the love for people. Choosing dentistry as a career was also inspired by her aunt who is in a dental hygiene program. She is very enthusiastic to learn more and to be a special part Light Dental Studios!

She comes from a family with 8 children and moved here from California. A few of her interest include photography, painting, hiking and writing!

Deiona

Front Office - Member since 2022

Deiona was born and raised in Seattle proper and moved to Tacoma several years ago. After 20 years in the salon industry, she decided it was time for a change and hoped she would be lucky enough to find a company that truly understood the importance of great customer service. Pursuing a career in the dental industry was always of great interest to her. She is extremely happy and honored to be a part of our team and looks forward to learning and growing with a group of professionals that hold the same core values as herself.

When Deiona has free time, she enjoys spending it all with her immediate and extended family. She enjoys cooking and baking for her husband and daughters. One of her favorite things to do is show off all the PNW's hidden gems to her family and explore the outdoors.

Sarah, RDH

Dental Hygienist - Member since 2012

As a child, Sarah spent a lot of time in the dental chair which planted the seed for her passion for dentistry. She has compassion for every patient she works with to improve and maintain their oral health. Sarah graduated from Pierce College in 2009 where she received the Outstanding Student Award. She continued her education at Eastern Washington University where she received her bachelor's degree and graduated with honors in 2011, going on to earn her Master of Education at Western Governors University in 2019. Along with practicing clinical hygiene, she is also a professor at Pierce College teaching future dental hygienists.

She, along with her husband Shawn, have 4 kids collectively, 2 boys and 2 girls. They love the outdoors and are very active in their church.

Amity, RDH

Dental Hygienist - Member Since 2015

Amity has enjoyed being a Registered Dental Hygienist with Light Dental Studios since 2015. After working several years at their Lacey location, she now enjoys seeing patients full-time at our University Place location. She loves working for Light Dental Studios where patients have the flexibility to be seen at multiple locations with still keeping the small office family feel.

Amity enjoys helping patients improve their oral health through education and one of the greatest joys of her job is treating and preventing periodontal disease. She firmly believes when you understand what is going on in your mouth, it is much easier to make decisions about your oral health.

She was born and raised in Tacoma and enjoys living in the Pacific Northwest. She hopes you will smile when you come to see her at the University Place office!

Paige, RDH

Dental Hygienist - Member since 2017

Having been born into a military family then finding true love to a military man, Paige has lived in 9 different states and 3 different countries. Getting her start in the dental field at Luke AFB as an assistant, she soon found that Dental Hygiene was her true calling. "I love the relationships and the influence for better oral care that I can affect." Seeing the quality of work that Light Dental Studies exhibits and the care for the community such as "South Sound Free Dental Day" makes me proud to be a member.

Her passions in life are her Lord, Family ( proud mother of 4 children and 8 grandchildren) gardening/quilting ( depending on the weather) and hiking with her lab Coco.

Heather, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist - Member since 2017

Heather loves her career as a dental hygienist with Light Dental Studios! She has been working at the University Place office since 2017 which is where she found her passion for dentistry.

She began dental hygiene school at Pima Medical Institute in 2020 where she graduated in the top 5 of her class. She loves empowering her patients to improve their oral health and providing care with a gentle and calm touch.

Originally from Texas, Heather previously earned her Bachelors in Health Promotion at the University of Texas (hook 'em!) and commissioned as a Medical Services Officer in the Army National Guard through ROTC in 2016. She enjoys serving her community, state, and country.

In her spare time Heather enjoys a good TV show and spending time with her family, dogs, and friends. Her and her husband, Daniel, welcomed their first daughter Addison to the world in 2021. They are enjoying parenthood and looking forward to growing their family even more in the years to come.

I first want to say that I am so thankful to be working for the best company in the world! It's such a pleasure to love what I do and to work with such amazing dentists, staff, and patients.

Meeting new folks and getting to care for them is my favorite part of my job. It is also one of my favorite things outside of work too! Hope I get to see you in my operatory soon!

Brooke, RDA

Dental Assistant - Member since 2021

Brooke has lived in the Pacific Northwest her entire life and is so excited to be working with the Light Dental Studios community! She got her associates' degree from Pierce College, and plans to also pursue dental hygiene. She loves seeing the confidence patients get when they leave our office with their beautiful smiles.

When Brooke isn't in the office, she is exploring all the wonders Washington has to offer!

Kayleigh, RDA

Dental Assistant - Member since 2022

Kayleigh Wagner has grown up in the Tacoma her entire life. She has been out of dental school since April 2022 and is currently furthering her education and is working towards becoming a dental hygienist. Previously, she worked in a pediatric office and has a lot of experience with kids. She loves working with them! In her free time, she loves to go camping, hiking, playing softball, and line dancing!
