David was brought up with an enthusiasm to help others from a young age. From making sandwiches to solving complex financial issues, he’s always enjoyed creating positive interactions with those around him. When you walk in our door, David’s primary goal is making sure that your visit is an exceptional experience. What drew him to Light Dental Studios was the sincerity of his friends and family testimonials regarding their time spent with us. Outside of the office, you can find David hiking about Washington with friends, and camping with his dog Indie. He also loves cheering on the Seattle Sounders, trying as much new food as humanly possible, and checking out random movies and books.

Chiffon graduated from Pima Medical Institute with the hopes of changing lives by helping people love their smile. She started her journey as a Registered Dental Assistant, but it didn't take long to discover her true talent and passion was in the front office. She’s a natural fit for the Light Dental Studios family as she is willing to go above and beyond for each and every patient. She found her home with Light Dental Studios where patients truly are family and each patient gets an individualized experience. Even though months may pass between dental appointments, she enjoys the connection to each person and sharing in the ups and downs of our patients’ or whatever else may be happening in their day to day life. She says she is lucky for the opportunity to be a part of a team bursting with such talent and heart. The individuals that make up this team are truly special.

Chiffon married her high school sweetheart and has three beautiful girls, Emileigh, Madalynn and Allisen. When she’s not in the office, you can find her enjoying the many blessings of life with my family and friends. Chiffon enjoys cooking, movies and dreams of traveling the world one day.

Chit was born in the Philippines where she earned BSBA in Banking and Finance at the University of the East, Manila, Phil. She then came to the USA in 1985 and got married to a wonderful military service man. She then worked in several banks mostly in the accounting department. She then chose a different career path and fell in love with dentistry. She graduated from Dental assisting program at Puget Sound Community College in 2005.

Chit feels fortunate to be a part of the most amazing company, Light Dental Studios. She loves to be a part of a company who enjoys serving our community.

At a young age Maddie developed a passion to assist those around her and spend time exploring the outdoors. Growing up in a small town on Mt. Hood she learned how important community is and the definition is more than just helping your neighbor.

She spent many hours dirt biking, hiking, and rafting however, when she started volleyball she learned how much she appreciated being on a team! Being apart of Light Dental Studios has given her more than just a career, it has allowed her to grow, learn and become apart of something bigger. A team that believes that dentistry is more than just promoting oral health.

Natalie is very family-oriented. She and her fiancé have been together for about 10 years. They have two young boys, Matteo and Myles. A few things they enjoy doing as a family include going on walks (their favorite), camping, cookouts on sunny days, traveling and spending time with their extended family.

Abigail graduated high school at the top of her class. She took advanced classes and took four years of metal working, and two years of woodworking. Her passion is working with her hands and loves to do it in her free time. Abigail placed first in the state for fabrication and competed in multiple welding competitions. She is excited to use her skillset within the ever growing dental industry.

Abigail looks forward to taking care of patients and continuing to develop her talents by trying new things. Abigail has always been dedicated to bringing a smile to someone’s face and loves helping our patients.

Chi has grown up in the Lacey/Olympia area since 2008 and loves it here. She recently graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelors in Biology. With aspirations to become a dentist to help others have a better quality of life, she reached out to Dr. Collins at our Hawks Prairie office for a chance to shadow a dentist. While shadowing at Light Dental Studios, Chi is grateful to have learned a great deal from Dr. Collins as well as from all of the staff. After having shadowed for a bit of time, Chi was given the wonderful opportunity to join the team and is now working at the front office of the Hawks Prairie location. She is very excited to work with everyone here to give patients the highest quality of care.

Chi loves to read in her free time as well as explore the many different landscapes Washington has to offer. 

Margaret is originally from Spokane where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She is driven by making connections with patients and is so excited to be a part of a team who values their patient's whole identity. Margaret enjoys guiding others through their health journey and believes that oral health is key to a happy healthy you.

She is an outdoor enthusiast and spends her free time hiking, biking, and running with her border collie/shepherd, Kona. She wants to hear all about your latest adventures and help you reach your goals!

Sydney, originally from California made her way to Washington in September 2023. Her desire for new adventures is what led her to Light Dental Studios. With a background in Cosmetology and Chiropractic, the common denominator is her love for people. You will always find Sydney with a welcoming smile on her face, eager to interact with all of our amazing patients.

In her free time you can find her hanging out with her husband and furry friend (Duck.) Sydney loves to cook, be outside in nature and spend time with her friends and family.

Melissa, or “Mel” for short, graduated at the top of her class with her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene in Vancouver, WA. She believes that every patient is unique and strives to provide individualized care to everyone. She is dedicated to helping others meet their goals for oral health, and knows this happens when you apply empathy and listen to the needs of the patient. Melissa aims to give each person a comfortable experience, and looks forward to each smile that sits in her chair. In her spare time, Mel enjoys riding horses, hiking, and traveling with her family.

Morgan was born in Ithaca, Michigan but the military has moved her out here to the beautiful state of Washington! She graduated hygiene school in 2020 from Delta College in Saginaw, Michigan. Morgan graduated top of her class and earned numerous awards from her instructors. Light Dental Studios has made Morgan love her job as a hygienist and has become her second family away from home. Morgan loves building relationships with her patients and always has a smile on her face!

When Morgan is not at the office she is spending time with her husband and two dogs, Remington and Kimber. Morgan loves to be outdoors and is training for a half marathon! In her free time she loves getting Starbucks, hiking, running, exploring new areas, and finding cute coffee shops!

Meet Peter Karsseboom, a compassionate and skilled dental professional dedicated to making a positive impact on the oral health of his community. Born with a passion for healthcare and a natural inclination towards helping others, Peter found his calling in the field of dentistry. Peter's journey in the dental industry started when he pursued an education at South Puget Sound Community College and was working towards his bachelor's degree in dental hygiene! Peter is applying to Clark College's hygiene program for the fall of 2024 but, meanwhile, decided to get his feet wet in the dental field by becoming a dental assistant.

Outside of work, you can find Peter swimming or working on strength training at his local gym in the Olympia area.
