Dr. Eva CereDr. Cere grew up in Athens, Greece. After graduating high school, Dr. Cere immigrated to the United States to study at Queens College City University of New York, where she graduated with honors and Magna Cum Laude in Biochemistry. She continued to thrive as a health care professional with a scholarship at New York University College of Dentistry, where she earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. At NYUCD, Dr. Cere was part of the Program for Survivors of Torture (PSOT). By being part of the PSOT team, Dr. Cere was able to participate in a humanitarian effort to help survivors of torture restore their smiles and resurrect their souls. She had relieved their pain, healed their infections, improved their esthetics, and provided them with the confidence to smile and socially interact again.
Dr. Cere spent a year to further refine her knowledge and skills at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center where she completed her Dental Residency. At NBIMC she was able to provide care to medically complex, special needs, pediatric as well as geriatric patients at clinical and operating room settings.
In her leisure time, Dr. Cere loves to engage in outdoor activities with her husband Shahrooz, her toddler Cyrus and their lovely Golden Doodle Teddy bear. She enjoys hiking, tennis and swimming. Having recently relocated from the East Coast, she cannot wait to explore what the beautiful state of Washington has to offer.
Dr. Cere is delighted to have joined the amazing family at Light Dental Studios. She is looking to forward to develop a long lasting relationship with her patients. Dr. Cere strongly believes each patient should be treated like family. She is committed to listening to the needs of her patients and to empower them with the dental knowledge they need to understand their dental needs and treatment.
