Meet Our Staff

Hallie

Front Office - Member since 2021

Hallie grew up in the Kent area and loves being back in the Pacific Northwest during the summer! She loves the energy and atmosphere of the office created by those she works with.

Hallie is finishing up her bachelors degree at BYU - Idaho in health psychology and looking to get her masters in sports psychology.

While not at work, Hallie enjoys baking, playing tennis, reading, and being with her friends and family. She is glad to be a part the Light Dental Studios team!

Brianna

Front Office - Member since 2022

Brianna has lived in, Kent, Washington her whole life. She became interested in the dental field when she was a senior in high school when she had to job shadow for her senior project. She chose to job shadow a hygienist at the dental clinic her mom works at. Brianna is still in school to become a dental hygienist. She is currently our billing and scheduling coordinator in our Kent location.

What Brianna loves about her job is that she gets to learn a lot while she is working! She enjoys learning about insurances, codes, procedures, and getting a feel of the dental life while she is working and going to school! She loves the idea of getting some education and experience for her future field. She also enjoys her co-workers and creating relationships with the patients!

Brianna got engaged to her high school sweetheart last January. On her free time, she loves to travel when she gets the chance to. She mostly spends her time with her friends and family and has a love for outdoor activities such as camping, taking her jeep off-roading, fishing, and four-wheeling. She also has a passion for, writing, music, and making YouTube or TikTok videos!

Megyn

Front Office - Member since 2022

Megyn has resided in South King County for over 20 years and has contributed to the community through multiple volunteer programs. With a background in professional corporate administration, Megyn found she desired a career more personally fulfilling which led her to Light Dental Studios. Her enthusiasm for customer service and compassion for others is evident while interacting with patients, working with insurance companies or outside entities, and with the Light Dental Studios team.

Megyn has two young adult sons, one still residing in Washington and the other attending school in California. In her free time, Megyn loves refurbishing and restoring furniture, as well as upholstery. She also enjoys traveling and has traveled to Costa Rica, South Korea, and Guatemala (where she stayed in a tree house surrounded by the rainforest!) and hopes to continue exploring other countries and cultures.

Boni, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist - Member since 2018

Boni was born in Seattle and moved to Auburn, WA when she was 10 years old. She started her dental career in high school helping in the front office of a dental practice after school. Boni later started working for Dr. Richard Hayashi as a dental assistant. After 5 years of dental assisting, she pursued a career in dental hygiene attending Green River Community College for pre-requisites, then Shoreline Community College where she served as her Dental Hygiene Class President for both years and graduated with her Associates degree in Applied Arts and Sciences in Dental Hygiene in 1997. She has worked as a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Hayashi for over 20 years.

One of the things Boni enjoys most about the dental field are the people she meets, both her co-workers and especially the patients she has the opportunity to serve. There is so much that we can learn from each other! She loves being able to connect with people and getting to know their stories, their families and being able to help them on their journey to dental health. A person’s face is the window to their soul. I love seeing patients’ lives changed when they feel confident in their smile.

Boni has been married to her husband, Barry for over 25 years. They have 4 children- Courtney, Hallie, Cole and Lexi. Her family is her greatest joy and she loves spending time with them! She also enjoys teaching people the art of paper-crafting, serving as a volunteer in church and other youth organizations, as well as baking and reading when she finds the time.

Diana, RDA

Registered Dental Assistant - Member since 2021

Diana joined Light Dental Studios team in 2021. She was born in Auburn, Washington but was raised in a small city in Paso Robles, California.

Diana found her place in dentistry because of many opportunities she saw within the company.

Diana also loves helping translate Spanish/English and serving her community’s Spanish speaking patients.

Kelsey, RDA

Registered Dental Assistant - Member since 2022

Kelsey was born and raised in Washington and moved to the Kent area when she was 5 years old. She started as a dental assistant in 2022 and loves it! Her favorite part is seeing patients come and go from the clinic with smiles on their faces. Kelsey is eager to continue assisting and making people feel good about their teeth! She is excited to learn more and more as the years go by.

Outside of work, Kelsey loves spending time with family and friends. She especially loves being outdoors, hiking, exploring new places, and traveling whenever possible.
