Dr. Koby received her dental training at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2015 with honors in community health. During dental school, she participated in volunteer work at a local community health clinic and was head anatomy TA. Dr. Koby went on to complete a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program based at the Ponce de Leon Center, a comprehensive clinic that provides medical and dental services to patients with HIV/AIDS, and the Ben Massell Dental Clinic, which provides dental care at no cost to those in need.

Prior to dental school, Dr. Koby lived in Atlanta, GA. She got her Bachelor of Arts in international studies with a French minor from Emory University, where she worked for several years prior to dental school. Dr. Koby also took a year after her undergraduate studies to teach English in France.

Dr. Koby is originally from Maryland, but is happy to call Washington her new home. She lives in Tacoma with her husband and their daughter, plus their dog and two cats. She enjoys seeing all of the natural beauty that the region has to offer. In her spare time, she enjoys taking her daughter on adventures around town, playing video games, and cooking.

As Dr. Koby’s patient, you can expect to have your concerns listened to and your questions answered thoroughly. She takes pride in making her patients feel comfortable and giving them all the information they need to make the best possible choices for their oral health.
