Dr. Rachael Hass

Dr. Hass was born and raised in Washington state. She attended the University of Washington for her undergraduate studies, receiving a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology. Her doctorate was earned at Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. As one of the top students in her class, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She continued her education at the University of Colorado for her orthodontic training, where she received a Master of Science in Dentistry. After finishing her schooling, she moved back home to Washington and joined Light Dental Studios to serve the people in the community where she grew up as a board-certified orthodontist.

In her free time, Dr. Hass can be found enjoying the outdoor activities that the Pacific Northwest has to offer like hiking, fishing, and camping. She has also played the flute since childhood and has continued her passion for music by practicing anytime she can.

Dr. Hass is known for always having a smile on her face, but that was not always the case. She was embarrassed by the way her teeth looked while growing up. She underwent extensive orthodontic treatment and multiple surgical procedures to correct her bite. From her experience, she fully empathizes with patient’s going through orthodontic treatment. Dr. Hass strives to provide personalized care to her patients by listening to their concerns and helping to relieve dental anxiety. Dr. Hass and the team at Light Dental Studios are looking forward to helping you achieve a beautiful smile!
