Thank you for considering Light Dental Studios! Are you interested in the magic of our clinics? Our dental practice is unlike any other, in that along with oral hygiene, we value loyalty, growth, and compassion within our patients and staff alike.

A Western Washington institution, Light Dental Studios has been providing excellent care in the fields of dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, pediatrics, sleep medicine, and oral surgery to the people of the larger Puget Sound area for over fifty years. Under the direction of our current founder and partner, Light Dental has flourished as a practice, growing to a team of over 300 people scattered across 30+ practices. Though they may be divided by distance, they’re connected through spirit—and we meet several times a year through parties and events, to keep the relationships strong.

Light Dental is the brainchild of Dr. Steve Broughton. Along with his partner, Dr. Angie Dunn, the two have grown the practice exponentially—and not just in terms of locations. On top of providing excellent healthcare, Light Dental has become a hub for dental media of all kinds, manufactured and disseminated from its own in-house studio. Through this studio, LDS educates the surrounding area on matters of oral health, promotes Puget Sound small businesses, and curates a series of tooth fairy-related projects. Light Dental is so much more than a clinic; it’s a community, a value system, and a shining example of what a business can do when it strives for greatness beyond its primary function.

As a clinic for fledgling dentists and veterans alike, Light Dental sets itself apart from other practices especially through its robust mentorship program. After completing dental school or dental assistant training, many new professionals find themselves thrown into the deep end without so much as a life jacket. LDS is different, in that the more seasoned members of its team take pride in mentoring younger, less experienced coworkers. Within this culture of helping one another flourish, LDS offers unique opportunities other practices often don’t attempt to provide.

In the spirit of fostering strong teacher-student relationships, Dr. Broughton has taken it upon himself to found an on-site dental assistant training program known as CADA (Central Academy of Dental Assisting). This four-week interdisciplinary program is designed to instill the appropriate skills and confidence into dental assistant-hopefuls. Interested parties are invited to learn more details and apply at https://centralacademyofdentalassisting.com.
We’re currently looking for likeminded people to hire in all areas, so if Light Dental sounds like a good fit, feel free to reach out today.
