Dr. Cecilia Tran

Dr. Cecilia Tran was born and raised in Washington and attended the University of Washington where she earned her bachelors in public health. She then completed another four years at UW's School of Dentistry to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Go, dawgs! She is very excited to be a part of the Light Dental Studios family.

Dr. Tran has always believed in giving back to her community. During her time at UW, she helped start the Southeast Asian Student Dental Association, an organization that provides care and education to patients in underserved populations through dental outreach and educational opportunities. She also served as a peer mentor and assisted dental students with lab projects in the dental simulation clinic alongside clinic directors. Throughout her time in dental school, she volunteered with numerous organizations, including Seattle's Union Gospel Mission Dental Clinic, Husky Health Bridge, and the American Student Dental Association.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tran enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and exploring the outdoors!

Dr. Tran is a part of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and Seattle-King County Dental Society.
